ARTIST STATEMENT : “Oh don’t let us ask for the moon, we already have the stars!”. For this new series of paintings, old Hollywood glamour comes to life through vibrant colours and elegant black and white imagery. Two years in the making, Icons such as James Dean, Cary Grant, Rita Hayworth and other Hollywood legends are hyper-realistically brought to life on the canvas. In this transcendent visual experience , we are taken out of the modern day gallery and to a forgotten world of elegance and glamour.
