ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Chefdoevre Delgado (b. 1993) is a Filipino tattoo and visual artist based in General Santos City. A 2015 Fine Arts graduate of the University of the East–Caloocan, majoring in Advertising, she creates graphic figurative works using a distinctive flat-art style. Drawing from personal emotions and experiences, Delgado explores themes of melancholy, nostalgia and warmth through clear, expressive compositions. Her work communicates direct yet deeply relatable narratives, inviting viewers to connect with their own memories and feelings. As an emerging artist, she continues to refine her visual language while expanding into private collections across Asia.

“’Good Morning” is inspired by a song from one of my favourite bands, Sticky Fingers, called “Cool and Calm”. It’s me, my husband, and some of our pets on a chill Sunday morning. This painting for me is about appreciating the little things around us and a reminder to take each day slowly and with a positive point of view.

The past few months have been very difficult for me and my family. A lot of challenges and hardships. But we kept fighting because no matter how hard things get, you must look up and believe everything will be okay. We will be okay. You will be okay.” – Chefdoevre Delgado
