JUAN ARATA – Berlin Nights
Hosted By 19 KAREN
February 23rd - March 23rd, 2013
Berlin Nights attempts to be a snapshot panorama of the Golden 10s (as Juan likes to call current times in Berlin in reference to the Golden 20s). It is something about the word Golden that holds Juan’s attention and makes him wonder about repetition and obscurity, and artists Otto Dix and George Grosz. In Juan’s work Juan thinks in the flow of the movement, which for him is somehow defined as a cubist way of time.
