ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Nataša Kekanović is a painter and illustrator whose work explores the dualities of visibility and invisibility, loneliness and awareness. Having studied textile design, technology and management in Belgrade, she draws inspiration from personal experiences and the diverse cultures encountered while living in Milan, London, Zagreb, Belgrade and Vietnam. Her multidisciplinary career includes collaborations with Gucci, adidas and Nick Knight’s SHOWstudio, with features in The New York Times and publications by Laurence King Publishing. Kekanović also worked as a painting animator on The Peasants, from the team behind Loving Vincent. In 2022, she received the FIDA Poetic Award.
