Artist Statement:
What an incredibly fun exhibition to be part of! I usually paint quite large pieces, so it was a challenge to paint on such a small scale. I wanted my paintings to be joyous, happy! I love the colour and texture of oil paint, so thick you are drawn to touch it. I gave each painting a three-word title to conform with the ‘Threesome’ theme and, of course, painted three pieces.
