Born in Lismore, circa 1988, Will Duncan creates stories and characters taken from past and present cultures, filtering them through his imagination to create surrealistic automatic compositions. Taking cultural designs and twisting them into contemporary manifestations. Through his works he aims to show that we are all animals, portraying how animal behaviour can remind us of human behaviour through a range of anthropomorphic images. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts at Southern Cross University in 2009, and currently resides in Byron Bay.
