Will Duncan
My name is Will Duncan, and I arrived in this world in 1988.
People have told me I began drawing at a very young age.
As I am still drawing today, I guess that means I really enjoy it.
My arts practice involves creating stories and characters derived from past and present cultures, taking in stories and experiences and filtering them through my mind to create new artworks.
I work from my home in Byron Bay, using materials like pencils, acrylic paint, spray paint, ink liners, wood, lacquer, glue, paper, cigarettes and old stuff I find in junk shops.

My artworks usually consist of surreal compositions of animals, characters and objects.
I love drawing animals the most because they are fun to draw. Feathers, teeth, claws, fur, scales, eyes, hands...
I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at Southern Cross University in 2009.
I have always created art because I enjoy it, creating art should be enjoyable. |
