Latvian artist, Sergejs Djomins, started out life with scoliosis which gave him a harsh understanding of life and reality. He looked inward to create his works that express the sometimes ruthless world around us. Sergejs teams blaring bright colours with grey muted tones to create his stark paintings. Using distorted figures set in common surroundings give the paintings honesty and edge. Sergejs has exhibited extensively in Latvia and has also gained international recognition for his works.
