Patricia Mado is a Brazilian artist who now lives and works in NSW. She works with lino and wood to create 15 limited edition prints of each of her works. The engravings of Patricia explore very graphically rich subjects: such as wefts, nests or roof structures. The beauty of her works is in the depth and dimension that her lines creates and the calculated lack of colour that focuses us in on patterns of life. Patricia has been involved in many group and solo shows in Brazil and was part of the Mini Group Show at 19 KAREN that exhibited throughout August 2011.
