INCLUSION IN GALLERY-CURATED SHOWS
Group and Solo Exhibitions in 2010 are curated by the Gallery Directors, and exhibitions are conducted via invitation and successful application.
REPRESENTATION
19KAREN Contemporary Artspace provides our represented artists with a sustainable, on-going platform to produce, exhibit, promote and progress with your artworks in a professional and peer-supported environment. Represented artists receive career development services, curatorial assistance, exhibition preference and other gallery-related guidance necessary to continue with your arts practice. Artists are selected based on the standard of your arts portfolio, and the exhibition achievements in your early career.
This criteria is competitive, and artists selected to join our stable must show evidence of consistent artwork standard and high work ethic.
SPACE HIRE FOR EXHIBITIONS
We also hire the gallery space out for specific survey/large group exhibitions of high standard. Please contact us for more details and to submit a proposal, note that we organize our calendar up to 8 months in advance.

ARTIST PORTFOLIO GUIDELINES
Please submit an Artist Portfolio including the following:
- HIGH QUALITY IMAGES OF ARTWORKS- Indicate whether these particular works are available to exhibit at 19 KAREN, or if they are just representations of your style of work. If you are proposing new works, please be as detailed as possible about your mid-progress works, and include images of recent works. 20 images max, quality over quantity. JPGs preferred.
- ARTIST BIO + CV - Artist Bio describing your personal background and creative practice, and a 1 page CV detailing your educational history, previous exhibition experience, industry achievements.
- SUPPORT MATERIALS - Website links, blogs, hardcopy Catalogues and Invites, Press clippings, Articles etc.
- CONTACT DETAILS - Mobile, email address and postal address.

We receive a high amount of applications, and strive to respond to every applicant with basic feedback in due time. Thank you for your patience.
Successful artists will be contacted by 19KAREN to further discuss their applications, and enter into a contractual agreement. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified via email.
Artists selected for our programs are expected to abide by deadlines, fees and terms discussed with the Gallery Directors.
Artists must supply the gallery with proper artwork info and images, and have works ready to hang or install by the agreed date.
Artists are fully responsible for the insurance of their work to and from the gallery, and during exhibition period, as well as the proper packing and delivery of unsold works to and from the gallery.
