Justin Lee Williams is a young emerging artist from Melbourne who studied graphic design at Swinburne University, Melbourne.

He has been featured in numerous art publications and exhibitions all over Australia, including Dazed and Confused, Frankie, Empty and Vice.

Based on a modern day observation, Justin's works touch on different themes, some subtle some bold. Not unlike a child looking through a window, using figures and animals as a way of capturing moments between time, Justin's works try to represent a beauty in society while not necessarily using beautiful images to do this.

Concentrating more on the beauty within the reality Justin's work capture thoughts of common men and women in a direct response to the world around them.

Recently Justin explained in DG Design Network that he uses a ‘bunch of different mediums’ in his work, from straight lead pencils to whatever he can get his hands on. His need to experiment has lead him to employ a new technique in his most recent work which involves mixing an ink solution with washing liquid, and then blowing the ink bubbles onto the paper. Such experimentation gives an elevating effect on the texture and mood of his new work.

Justin is represented by 19 KAREN on the Gold Coast.
