When asked recently by 19 KAREN to complete a work soon for his upcoming solo show we were greeted the next morning with an email and an image stating “I’ve been up all night to get this finished – find attached my first work for my next solo show”. This is an example of what a motivated, switched on and productive artist the renowned Johnny Romeo is. Romeo has had two sell-out exhibitions in Sydney (March 2010) and Perth (June 2010), has sold well over 80 works this year alone and the price of his work has nearly doubled under the national demand.
