Jesse Dolman

Biography | Artwork

Jesse Dolman is an emerging artist currently based in Northern NSW.
His work draws on an imaginative world where deformed people and crossbred creatures interact. The beauty of the drawings belies the grotesque subject matter, alluding to the darkest side of human behaviours.  Social acceptances no longer apply, gender is unspecific.

These odd figures are pleased with and unapologetic of their appearance. A disregard for social taboos both sickens and intrigues us.  The characters have developed from personal observations and experiences of people, whose curiosities have become exposed and exaggerated.
