James Reka is a young and up-coming Melbourne artist acknowledged as a pioneer amongst the Melbourne street art scene for his cartoon and illustrative based works that make reference to pop culture. Reka is a dedicated and productive artist who creates his own world of mysterious creatures that communicate though colour and movement, based around the style of abstracted fantasy and surrealism. He has exhibited throughout Australia and London and has been featured in numerous publications including Stealth and Fame Magazine. Reka’s talents have also been recognised by the National Gallery of Australia where his works have been acquisitioned for their permanent collection.
