Clare Toms is a visual artist based between New South Wales and Mexico. She completed a Bachelor of Fine Art through the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University in Brisbane. Clare works on various side projects such as an international collaboration, teaching visual arts, and working with children as part of an Intercultural art program between Australia and Peru. Clare has recently held a successful solo show and has been a finalist in notable prizes such as the South Australian Museum’s Waterhouse Prize, and the ‘Bowness Photographic Prize’ at the Monash Gallery of Art, Victoria.See Clare's work exhibiting at 19 KAREN this August & September 2011 in the Mini Group Show.
