Brian Donnelly is a Canadian painter working in Toronto.  Primarily focused on figurative painting, his work challenges the ideals of the figure within art as well as the boundaries of what is sacred within the painted plane.  Much of what Donnelly paints serves to examine the process of it's own creation, and leave us with questions about the motives of the creator.  He will be exhibiting his next solo show at 19 KAREN in November 2011. Brian is represented by Show & Tell Gallery in Canada and Leslie's in Luxembourg.
